Welcome to my academic homepage. I am currently a JSPS research
fellow at the Department
of Linguistics at Kyoto
University. My research project is
focused on a number of focus-sensitive particles in standard Japanese
and in several languages of the southern Ryukyus. I work
primarily in the areas of formal semantics and
pragmatics, with an empirical focus on discourse particles and related
phenomena in the languages of Japan. I combine formal modeling with
computational and quantitative methods in my work, which can be found here.
