Welcome to my academic home page. I am a PhD student in the Department of Linguistics at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I work primarily in the areas of formal pragmatics and semantics.  I combine formal modeling with computational and quantitative approaches in my work, samples of which can be found here. My dissertation research focuses on discourse particles in Japanese, and their role in the semantics-pragmatics interface.

Upcoming
